Wow, what a day it has been. On Monday all our bags were finally packed. We had lots of suitcases. The kids big brother, Timmo, took us to Auckland and we got to the Airport at about 10 pm. We said goodbye and Timmo, Angela and Aiva then drove back to look after our house. This was the start of a lot of waiting. When the counters opened we went to the lady and handed her our passports and she told us where we could sit in the plane. Our big suitcases were left there to go to the airplane and then we went to the customs area. Martin, Dallas, Chance, Mum and Dad walked around this big machine that could see into their bags and see what was in them. I think that the customs people could see right through to my stuffing!
We went and sat in the seats to wait for the plane. It was seemed a long time until we could board. Eventually we were asked to go to the gate and get on the plane. At about 2 oclock after we had put our bags in the big overhead lockers we put our seatbelts on tight and we were off. We were on a Royal Brunei 777 Airplane. It had so many seats that 9 people could sit in each row across the plane. There were lots of people on the plane. We lew out of New Zealand, across the Tasman Sea, Over Australia, across some more sea and a long time late after flying for 9 hours we landed in Brunei. Wow, Brunei is hot. We took a taxi to our Hotel and then we all went to bed for a while cause we were all so tired.
