Brunei

We woke up the next day and went down for breakfast. Martin helped me wave the New Zealand flag today and then we had our cereal.

After breakfast we climbed the stairs in the Hotel.
The trees outside had coconuts hanging from them
Driving into the town of Brunei we went past their Parliament Buildings

and arrived at the Shopping center. It was good to go inside because all the shops had air conditioning so people could cool down. The temperature outside was a humid 27 degrees
We went up stairs and were able to look down into the shopping center and there was a waterfall inside the building.

In Brunei their churches are called Mosque and this one had domes on the top made of REAL GOLD.

And on the far side of the river the people had made their houses on stilts above the water. They used taxi boats to get to the mainland.

On the way back to the Hotel we saw monkeys near the roadside

And then it was time to get back on the airplane and head for Heathrow Airport in London, England.
