Brunei to Dublin

Hi everyone this is Keewee again. I have travelled with Martin, Dallas and Chance all the way to Dublin in Ireland where I hope to find a real Irish Leprechaun to talk to. But first I will tell you of our trip. We left Brunei at about 9pm at night and flew to Dubai where we landed about 7 1/2 hours later. We got off the plane and walked through security while the plane was getting refueled and then we got back on the plane and flew to Heathrow Airport in London, England. It was a very long journey and we had to try and sleep on the plane in our seats but that was quite hard so we got really tired. While we were flying we were able to watch the televisions in the back of the seat in front. The kids watched Toy Story, Ben10 and several other movies. When we got to Heathrow there were so many other big planes landing from all over the world that we had to circle around the airport until it was our turn to land. About 14 hours after leaving Brunei we landed.

We walked out of the air bridge and looked back to see our airplane. It was 6.30am in the morning and we were on the other side of the world from New Zealand where we started our journey. Now when it was morning in England it was night time in New Zealand.
After collecting all our bags we found a man who had our name on a sign. He took us to a taxi and  then drove us into London town. There were cars and people everywhere. The streets were so busy that we saw Police cars and ambulances, with sirens going, stuck in traffic and not able to move.

After taking our suitcases to the Hotel we went for a walk. The buildings were old and went up really high. This is a photo of St Pancras Rail Station and hotel that was near our hotel. The railway station is underneath the hotel and the trains run beneath the ground.

And there were double decker buses everywhere!
The next day we boarded a train and sped across the country side to Hollyhead in Wales. The train travelled at over 200 km/h.

At Hollyhead we boarded a huge ferry that was 8 stories high.

I watched out the window as we left England and headed for Ireland

Then I watched the bags and kept them safe. We took turns and I was able to explore the ship.

I think that if I could get outside I could water-ski behind the boat!

I went into the games room with the kids and tried riding a motorbike.

Then Dallas and I tried a Race car game. I helped her use the brakes!

After 3 hours sailing we saw the first land of Ireland

And then I saw a littler lighthouse. It was way to small for anyone big to live in. I wonder if it belongs to a leprechaun. I will need to watch carefully.

The ferry came in to the Port at Dublin. We were a long way above and all the cars and people looked really small down below. After leaving the boat we took a Taxi and at about 6pm we arrived at the Kids big Sister and brothers place. It was really nice to be able to stop traveling and have a rest.
